What counts as web space?

Your DB folder (databases), wwwroot folder (web files), logs folder (traffic logs), and e-mail stored on the server. mySQL space is also included as part of your web space For example, if you are on our silver plan which gives you 25 MB and your mySQL database is 5 MB, this will leave you with 20 remaining MB. MS SQL 2000 space is billed separately, thus does not come off your web space If you wish to not view your web statistics, you can delete the files within your logs folder to free up more space.

What happens if I go over my bandwidth and web space quotas?

We will not cap off your web space or bandwidth usage. We will simply bill you for what you used extra. Extra Disk space is $5 per 50 MB. One GB of extra bandwidth is $5 per month. Some hosting companies will simply turn off your website once your quota is reached. We do not practice this. You will get an invoice via email if you are over your quotas.

Can I upgrade my package at a later date?

You can always upgrade your web hosting package. If you prepaid for the year and wish to upgrade at a later date, we will prorate your upgrade so you did not waste any money. For example, if you order our silver plan at $99 per year and use it for three months. Then, you decide you want to upgrade to our gold plan. We will credit you $8.25 per month that you didn't use towards your gold plan upgrade totaling $74.25.

Can I add e-commerce such as Miva Merchant with real time credit card processing at a later date?

You can always add onto your existing hosting package.

Is my website backed up?

Your website is backed up on a nightly basis. Your email stored on the server is not backed up because the email is constantly being used on the server. It is recommended for extra precaution that you download and backup your files.

How do I check my email when I am traveling?

Go to http://mail.[yourdomain].com:8383. Your user id is your full email address.
