Our new SQL Server 2000 was installed as planned on 2/11/2004 with no problems. Downtime was very minimal and during non business hours. The new server specs are: Dual Xeon 2.4Ghz Proccessors, 2GB RAM, 4x120GB HDD, and a 3Ware RAID controller.

We applied a security patch to all of our servers tonight, this caused a short outage of around 3 minutes to reboot the server.

Additionally, we will be migrating our MS SQL Server databases to new hardware late Wednesday evening into early Thursday morning. This migration will begin at 11pm Wednesday evening and will last until approximately 1:30am Thursday morning Mountain Standard Time. We are migrating the SQL Server to a much higher capacity hardware configuration which has nearly four times the processing power of the existing hardware to improve overall performance. This will only affect those customers utilizing our shared SQL Server.
